Gameplay Modes
Classic Tetris

Naturally, you can play the traditional version of Tetris. You already know how this mode works!

Multiplayer Mode

Multiplayer mode pits you against a human opponent in a battle to see who can prevent overstacking the longest. You'll have opportunities to take advantage of powerups along the way to put your opponent in a worse position or to get your grid in better shape!

Tetratris True includes a very easy-to-use game finder that makes setting up and joining games as simple as you can imagine. If you have a PsyguyGames.com account / profile and save your account name and password in the Controls menu in the game itself, then Tetratris True will keep track of your Multiplayer record for everyone to admire!

Time Attack

At first glance, Time Attack mode looks just like Classic mode. Then the timer hits and your breath catches as you notice the pieces move up one step closer to the top. Your heart races as you rush to get the pieces out of the way before they can get any closer. Can you overcome the advancing lines to become the Time Attack champion?

Rubik's Mode

Just like Time Attack mode, Rubik's mode looks just like Classic mode when you first begin. Having experienced the shock of the time attack, though, you begin to prepare yourself for the spin. Despite your preparedness, your mouth still drops in horror when the first spin strikes; the entire bottom half of the grid has just rotated 90 degrees! All of the work you put in to making things orderly has gone to total waste! You try to wrap your mind around the puzzle so that the next spin doesn't completely unravel all of your hard work in laying pieces on the grid, but each spin nonetheless brings you one step closer to the brink of madness. Can you solve the Rubik's spin?

Obstacle Mode

You exhale as you begin Obstacle mode; noticing the absence of any timing device or countdown, you feel secure in the knowledge that the grid will not change in any unpredictable way. As you try to fit your pieces into the randomly-populated grid, though, your trepidation grows; how can you possibly bring order to such a random population of pieces? Can you navigate the complete chaos of Obstacle mode to bring order once again to the grid?

Tetratris Redux

The namesake of Tetratris True challenges you to keep tabs on 4 grids at a time. You will see four grids that intersect at the middle; each time you place a piece, the quartet of grids will rotate a random number of times, leaving you with a different side to work on. Will you sacrifice the order of one grid to improve the order of another grid?

Tetratris Redux mode requires that you plan ahead and predict the consequences that will await the other 3 grids once you place the piece in the current grid. At first it seems easy; soon, though, you realize things are getting tricky. When you start running out of room, will you panic and lose your focus, or can you keep your calm and make sure to account for each grid even as the pieces approach the top?

Time Attack 2

Still in disbelief over the original Time Attack mode, you enter the sequel not knowing what to expect. When the first Time Attack hits, you might not even notice the difference. You might even think the sequel seems easier due to the increased time between Time Attacks. Soon, though, you'll realize the true terror of Time Attack 2.

Just as in its predecessor, a Time Attack 2 raises each piece on the grid one step. However, these Time Attacks alter the grid in another way, also: They widen the grid one space! As the Time Attacks keep coming and the grid continues to widen, you will become increasingly desperate to get back to the bottom of the grid. Can you do it, or will the maniacal sequel leave you stacked and defeated?

Tetrispin

Playing Tetrispin will make you wish you had one of those rotating flat-panel monitors. At its core, Tetrispin plays exactly like Classic mode. That sounds simple enough. Unfortunately for you, the unsuspecting player, Tetrispin introduces one key difference: a perpetually spinning grid! As your score increases and you advance to higher levels, the grid will begin to spin faster and faster. can you keep your head straight and put the pieces in the right places, or will you get spun around and end up reaching the top far too soon?
