Level Editor Tutorial

You should find the editor quite simple to use.

First, you need to create a level. You can choose from 3 brush types:

To use a brush on the map, simply left-click where you want to draw.

(Remember, you can't turn a wall into an apple; you have to erase the wall first, then place and apple there.)

If you need to move the menu, left-click on the 4-way arrow at the upper-left corner of the menu and drag it out of the way (while still holding down the left mouse button).

When you have completed your level and wish to save it, click the Save button. A screen will ask you to confirm that you wish to save the level. If you have finished all editing, then press the Home key to save the level. (This can take a few seconds.) A message will inform you that you have successfully saved the level; you can now either work on another level or return to the menu (by pressing Escape).

(After you submit a level, I take a quick look at it to make sure it works, and then I add it to the custom levels list.)

If you are logged in, then I receive a note that you are the author. Otherwise, I can't tell who made it. If you made a level anonymously, send me an e-mail letting me know if you want me to add credit.
